Certain pages will not open correctly in IE6

Hello

I am using IE6 SP2
This problem occurs occasionally and in the past I have just ignored it - I just needed to access a certain page this morning with a matter of urgency

What would cause a page (link or typing direct) to open completely blank on my PC yet on another PC open correctly

Like I say, it only seems to happen on a few pages and I can't get a consistent pattern

Also, can't see as these are pages designed by external web developers

I must preface this by mentioning that I an not a tek but I experienced the same problem. I too had an urgent need to access a particular page.

Background info:
We use a cable IP at home & we have a desk top and a laptop on that service. I use a DSL IP at work.

The problem occured on my laptop. The desk top was unaffected. I took the laptop to work and had no problems with it there.

My temporary solution:
after running Spybot, Adaware, and Norton without success, I uninstalled SP2. Initially it did not work. The following day everything was ok.

Might give that a try as it still doesn't always work
Tried nearly all suggestions from MS site with no success
