certain mail formats not delivered

I'm using exchange 5.5 with outlook 97 and 2000 and i find that double dot emails are not being delivered by double dot in mean in this format anyne.nancy@go.net . If someone could offer a litte help on this i sure could use it thanks.

subject : undeliverable FEET map
feet is the name of my server
