i have just been to a friends computer running xp sp2 with IE (sorry don't have version) Problem is only certain sites will load when set as the default homepage when IE is started. The sites that won't load when set as default homepage bring up the error page cannot be displayed, yet if I hit the refresh button they come right up. Have repaired IE and tried changing security levels as well as disabling any firewalls, but problem still exists.

thanks GRASS

If it's only some pages, you might start by emptying the Temporary Internet Files. If that doesn't help, re-regester the .dll's referenced in thread608-809805 IE 6.0 on XP Pro WON'T LOAD UNLESS I PRESS F5
