Certain file opens fail with SP6 and samba 2.0.7

We are running Windows Terminal Server SP6 with Metaframe
1.8 Feature Release 1 and samba 2.0.7. We also have
this problem with 2.0.5a. Perl script file opens fail
as well as Notepad file opens. Trussing samba shows
that samba opens the file ok but the Term Serv OS treats
this a a failure. Machines we have not upgraded to
TS SP6 and Metaframe 1.8 Feature Release 1 do not have
this problem. Other types of file opens work fine
(Wordpad for example).
