Cert.ID for use in North America only

Hi,

After installing Application server 5.0.6a (NT 4, sp6) and using the quick setup option, specifying a new cert.id, server.id and administrator.id - I get an error when installing the client: Cert.ID for use in North America only. Our company is located in South Africa.

The reason for the reload of the domino server is that our administrator has passed away, and I do not know the administrator password to register new users and re-certify current users.
If here is a way to add myself as an administrator if will same me a lot of trouble - I do know the old cert.id password.

(I have kept a backup of the working domino server)

Just a few thoughts....

Try "lotusnotes" - if the Cert.id was in a safe place then the administrator may have had no need to set a password to anything other. Also he may have a backup copy with a password set as "lotusnotes" so do a search. Also other companies keep a backup of user id's and the passwords may be set as above, find his backup copy of his id and he will have Admin rights which will allow you to add yourself.
Check\search documents company wide for passwords that he might have used. I use the "Search for Text" option in Explorer - its intensive (kick it off overnight and search his docs for the word "password")but worth a try.
Most admins have favorite passwords they use again and again, sometimes only making a minor change like adding and "01,02,03 etc" to the end.
