Has anyone used the Centurion Guard chip to protect their computers? I work in an educational facility that is looking into the possibility of purchasing the chip for security in the labs. We have one for demo
purposes and have been very impressed with its capabilities. I'm interested in info from other locations that may be using the chip for security purposes in a lab environment and what their successes/problems with the chip have been. Thanks...
This is the web page for the chip..
A nice peice of equipment. Only way we brought it down was a pick sat, or you can take the case off and change the jumpers. But we were given premession to attampt to remove it. 4 software guys, in the advanced Computer Scince class for Seniors Only. We found this is indeed a hardware peice, so we grabed our screwdrivers and had some fun. So far this year, it has protect all of our campus's computers. I respect this device fully.
