Centura and Oracle 9i

Hi guys. Does anybody know if there is any problem with Centura 1.5.1 and oracle 9.1? A client of mine has recently migrated from 8i to 9i and trying to use a program writen with centura 1.5.1 he connects ok bur when he tries to insert or update it doesn't work. It just pops up a message about an oracle error. something about long datatypes. He uses an odbc driver installed with the client of 9i. When he tried to use the microsoft odbc fro oracle or the oracle odbc driver he could not even connect.
Any ideas?
