I'm working on Partner Messaging 7; Set up an auto attendant and option 2 is supposed to centrex transfer out to an external #. I programmed option 2 as 7(centrx) + 1ac + # and it says option 2 can not be transferred when calling parties call in.. Any advice?

Thanks
Carolyn

It sounds like you set up selector code # 2 to do a centrex transfer, this is alright if you do not need your autoattendant to transfer to any ext. that starts with a 2, if you need that you may want to use selector code #5 or higher and set selector code 2 back to direct ext. dial. I think the trouble you are having is you need to have a 9 before your dial string because when the system picks up to dial out it picks up on intercom first the 9 gets you your dial tone and then you would need your 7 then your # you want to dial, I hope this helps!
