Customer has ATT POTS lines with Centrec features for Centrex Transfer from an Auto Attd. The caller makes a selection and is transferred to an 888 number via Centrex Transfer on the same line the call came in on. They are now talking about switching to a feature called Call Transfer Disconnect. The only info I can find is you switchook transfer, dial a number press flash and hang up and the call is transferred. Doesn't sound like it will work like the Centrex Transfer option on the Auto Attendant. Anyone familiar with this feature?
THANKS IN ADVANCE,

Sounds like they are trying to get out of their Centrex contract but get a custom calling feature that still allows them to flash, dial an outside number, and disconnect once either the distant number starts ringing of after the distant number answers and the transfer is announced. You would have to test the feature to know if it is going to work or not, I do know that on the older Partner and Merlin voicemails that have Centrex transfer as an AA selector code option they DO flash, pause, dial, pause, flash, pause, disconnect. The final flash before disconnect prevented me from doing a looparound with a station and CO port to 0 out of a mailbox to a Centrex transfer.
