Can anyone tell me the best way to do the following?

User presses 9 from Menu (Already established menu - ok)

This will perform -

FLASH ---> #901856XXXXXXX---->DISCONNECT

where XXXXXXX is my cell....

This is also known as a centrex transfer

I am researching, and it is telling me to use an IP Office Short code and transfer -

My question is, how do I make a short code to do:

FLASH, #901856XXXXXXX, HANG UP..

I love the help file in Manager, so much easier then typing

Centrex Transfer Short Code Operation
The short code feature Flash Hook can be used with IP Office short codes. It can be setup with or without a telephone number in the same way as a Flash Hook programmable button detailed above. The line group must be the group of analog lines from the Centrex service line provider.

Transfer from Voicemail/Auto-Attendant
This operation is only supported through Voicemail Pro using an Assisted Transfer action with the destination set to a Flash Hook short code.

create a shortcode
*54N (or whatever makes you happy
FlashHook
,N (comma so you have a pause)

this will do a Flash on the line and send out the number dialed by the voicemail.

send the voicemail assisted transfer to the shortcode and have it dial the number after that.

I have never done it but I know I played around with it on a system that had extensions off another system as lines, (don't ask)

Wohoo! It worked!
here is what I did..

Created a short code of *96N;

Made it a flash hook

put in ,#901856XXXXXXX in the Telephone number field..

Then in VM PRO - I did option 9 going to an assisted transfer... and in the destination I just put *96N;

THEN

All 3 options of the assisted transfer go to a DISCONNECT.

Works like a charm!!!

Now if I could just get the IP office to stop WAITING FOR LINE.. I would be happy! (Some reason it doesnt realize the lines are idle until the 2nd time around or more!)

Waiting for line is just what is says

Your ARS is not good
It is looking for a trunk wich is not available
Probably a line id issue
