Centrex lines from Frontier

Client is trying to transfer call offsite via centrex service. Transfer works at D-marc.

Client taps the switchhook and the number to transfer to. When she taps the switchhook, the call should go on hold like call waiting, but it doesn't.

I placed a recal button on the phone and had her press that before the switch hook to see if that would ctivate the feature, but it does not.

Am I missing something?

Well, you would never flash the hookswitch on a multiline phone, you would use a recall button, or press Feature 03. Check your recall timer in #107. I usually set it to 600mSec, 24.

We hit the recall button to activate the call transfer feature on the centrex line and then press a preprogrammed button with the nunmber to transfer to and it doesn't work.

When the recall button is pressed while on the line, you are not placed on hold/waiting while the call transfer feature on the centrex line is accessed.

do you hear on the other end that the flash function is actually working or do you hear nothing.
If you hear it then the timer is off and as TTT suggested play around with the timing in #107 make the time longer because shorter won't work and f it would be to lng it would disconnect your call.
