Centrex Transfer from Auto Attendant Selector Code on Merlin Msg 4.0

I want my callers to transfer to an 800# from the auto attendant, just like with Partner Messaging using Centrex transfer. I don't see the option in Merlin Messaging R4, is there a work-around?

First, you have to have an extension set up to forward to the 800 number.

Second, set a selector code transfer to that extension.

Third, make the mail box a TRANSFER ONLY type.

Because single line extensions (including voice mail ports) cannot flash to the CO line, you can directly do a Centrex transfer (flash, pause, number, pause, disconnect)

However, you CAN use Centrex Forwarding on a phantom extension, and transfer the caller to that extension. The key is that the call has to come INTO the system on a Centrex trunk.

Forward the extension to *-pause (hold)-telephone number-#

And this assumes that you have a Magix with the Merlin Messaging installed in it.
