I have CENTREX lines and need to press 9 to get dial tone. With the Norstar, I also have to press 9, thus I am pressing 9 twice.

I cannot find the setting for having the Norstar press 9 for me automatically. Do you know where to set the setting.

Thanks,
Tim

one way is to program a button (Feature * 1) to dial 99. this is the quick and simple way. If you want to go i little more to the user dosen't need to think to press the button you can program a destination code (9) to use route 001 and absorb one digit then program route 001 to outdial 9 on pool x (normally A) the customer would just pick up intercom and dial 9 plus the number. it's all in the method you want the customer to use and the button availability. 7100 phones and ATA phones don't have available buttons so if you have them you may want to go the destination code method.
