I have CENTREX lines and need to press 9 to get dial tone. With the Norstar, I also have to press 9, thus I am pressing 9 twice.

I cannot find the setting for having the Norstar press 9 for me automatically. Do you know where to set the setting.

Thanks,
Tim

To acomplish this you have to set up routing instead of Line Pool Codes. First de-assign 9 as line pool A and external dial. Then under routes you would set up route 001 to use pool A, dialout : None. And on Dest Codes, you would add 9 ok, to use route 001, absorb none or zero. This will pass the 9 to the Telco.

an alternative is to set up one of your autodial buttons using feature * 1. set up the button to dial 99, then the cust can hit this button for an outside line. I know it only saves one keystroke. JerryReeve
