Cust. has a CICS with 5 centrex lines, centrex code is 8. Where is it programmed to assume that 8? They dial 8 for line pool A which is set under system programming. Checked routing and dest. codes found nothing. Checked every route from 000 to 100. I can change Line pool to 9, and that works, but it still assumes the 8 somewhere

When you say the Cenrex code is 8, are they hitting an 8 to get out, or are they hitting an 8 after they get dial tone?
Sounds like the line pool was 8.
I base this off of your post.

Thats what it sounded like to me too. If you put your buttset on one of the C.O.'s can you dial out, or do you have to press 8?

Need to dial 8 with buttset, when you get on an intercom button and dial 8, you get a line from pool A. Somehow it's dialing the centrex 8. If I go into system program and change the pool A dial code to 9, it still works by dialing 9
