I have many BCM50s networked using VoIP. Centralized voicemail works great for all aspects of VoIP. The problem I have encountered is getting it to work when someone calls a BCM from the PSTN. The call comes in fine, rings four times fine, and then forwards to voicemail fine. However, it forwards to voicemail as if to check a mail box ("enter mailbox number") instead of to leave a message. This sort of makes sense to me because these lines ring on multiple phones so which mailbox should the message be put in. Obviously, I am missing something because I am sure there is a way to make it go to a particular mailbox. I can not just do a forward because it is not considered internal across the WAN.

Do you have the line set as voice mail on all sets on the BCM 50?

Thanks for the PBX/DID info. I just have 4 analog lines into the BCM50s so DID does not apply in my case. Yes, the line is set as a voicemail line for all DNs it is assigned to. That is why I believe the BCM50 is having trouble figuring out what mailbox to send the call to because each extension has it's own mailbox. However, I do believe that I should be able to configure it in a way that gets the call into a mailbox. I also played with control and prime set and this seemed to have no affect at all.

I'm pretty sure on the host system the AA trunk answer has to be set to yes under F982. Also on the host a target line has to be assigned to the VM DN with 0 rings, I believe.

Crowtalks, Did you ever find a resolution. I am having the same problem. Mine does it with an internal Station to Station call, whether I am calling from remote BCM50 to BCM50 (then of course forwards across VOIP to BCM400 with voicemail system) or if I call from BCM400 to BCM50 then it also forwards back to the BCM400. Is this what yours was doing.

I did get most of this resolved. The majority of the problem is that private OLI did not automatically populate on the DNs.
