Can anyone verify for me that the BCM will only do centralized vmail with the Meridian 1 product line? Not BCM to BCM?

Using the MCDN keycodes can you network two BCMs together via VIOP trunks and do centralized vmail?

You need the MCDN keycode, but you also need VPIM and AMIS voicemail networking keycodes. That should be all you need.

Ah, so it won't do centralized vmail in the traditional sense. IE., MICS/ NAM to MICS/ NAM

Man, that's kinda yucky. Hopefully they will change that up with the 4.0 upgrade to linux.

BCM will do centralized voicemail from BCM to BCM, provided the "hub" BCM is a 200/400, and it is running at least release 3.5. You will need the MCDN keycode on all BCM's, some type of connectivity between systems(PRI or VOIP), and the appropriate number of mailboxes on the hub. The remotes will need MCDN only.

BCM can use centralized mail on a Meridian, but can't light lights on a Meridian set.

You won't need VPIM/AMIS - that's used for networking multiple voicemail systems together.

If you use the Call Pilot in conjunction with an 81C can the Meridian light the lights on the BCM?
