I am working on a 2 site magix system. I am emulating a pri between systems. I have not done a centralized vm in years and my network reference manual seems to have grown legs. Can someone please tell me the settings for getting the calling gp to cover to a vm unit across the pri?

Thanks,
John

The Network Reference manual is readily available at
Start on page 1-23 (Acrobat page 55), which discusses Centralized Voice Messaging. There's a fair amount of programming to do overall.

In regards to the routing piece, the key thing is the VMI Conversion Number. Build DGC 770 / CG 30 as usual in your remote switch. Add the conversion number as a member of 770, and add this number your Non-Local Uniform Dial Plan (so that the local switch will send the calls to the remote side).

You'll have to strip the 770 in the NL UDP pattern table as well. See? It's already coming back to you now...
