I have a customer with several older Elite systems that I plan on upgrading to Elite IPK so we can network them all over IP. They have an "Active Voice" Tower PC voice mail system. Can this voice mail support the centralized voice mail feature or do I need one of the new internal voice mail systems?

Thanks.

Which Active Voice product do you have? Is it digital or analog? If it is analog (uses analog ports instead of digital ports) then it probably will not as there will be no Message Center Interface (MCI). Post back....

Active voice Repartee used analog ports with MCI serial integration. It will support centralized Vmail over CCIS network.

Since you are using KCCIS Serial MCI does not apply. I have only used NEC FMS/VMS/VMP in a centrallied voicemail App on the Key System side. The conversation is a stripped down version of CCIS, but some features which are not able to work with CCIS work on KCCIS. I would try lighting a lamp with a dail code on the test bench across KCCIS. It may work as the voice/tone toggle by dailing 1 works across KCCIS. Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Chris
