Centralized Music on Hold

I have multiple offices (SF, CHI, NY). Each has CS1000E/S, and CallPilot 4.0, NRS. MCS5100 in progress...

Do I need to arrange for MOH on each individual switch or can I set up a central place where MOH can play on all my switches?

Need a MOH source for each city. Not aware of networking for MOH at this time.

You would think with a VOIP system and an MPLS network, I can multicast an MP3 file or something to each PBX and create some type of music on hold.

you could, but qos and bandwidth would both suffer. part of the reason nortel didn't offer network moh with network page. we installed an 11 with ip remotes, put a trunk card in an ip remote, used it for a mus source, with the pri route in the main cab, mus wouldn't work.. had to move the mus sources, all 7 of them to the same site as the main cab. cust had custom canned music for each dealership... pain in the keyboard
