I have a customer that wants the secretary to answer the phones for both sites but be able to tell the difference between the two companies. They want to be able to toggle this on and off when the other secretary is gone.

Is there a way to call forward the main number from site B to site A, but say "Site B" on the caller display? The only other problem is dealing with "Call Park". Is there a way to park remote calls?

Thanks

I have done this BCM50e's so the concept can be the same.

I am assuming that you already have IP Trunking between the two sites.

Create a new target line and assign it to appear and ring on the receptionist on the recieving BCM which is different from the existing target line for regular inter office calls.

Then when the remote receptionist leaves her telephone she would call forward her calls to the new target line. This way when a call comes in on this appearance she knows that it is from the remote site, then she can transfer it back over. This works better with MCDN on both BCM's so that you are not tying up two IP trunks.

As far as parking I don't think you can do it.
