Central Audix

Hi,

We have a central audix connected to a 9.5 pbx with an x25 connection.We have three other sites using DCS with x25 connections that use this audix We have added another 9.5 that we have connected using IP trunks. We have DCS between the sites and would like to have the far end pbx use the central audix as well. Any ideas are appreciated.

You can use the AUDIX host PBX as a Gateway to the new switch. The atached link takes you to the Avaya Networking document that covers this design.

Thanks for the info. I see in the docs how to connect to a network connected audix but not an x25. Would I use TSC to setup the gateway connection like an isdn connection or would it be different with the two pbx's being connected by ip.
