Centillion MCP Software Upgrade

Hi,

I tried to upgrade a MCP with a new Software (5.1.2).
It just breaked in the seriel Flash procedure after some 1000 bytes..
Now I can't boot because the serial console says:

C100 Diags Boot prom starting, DIAGNOSTICS mode

Starting Stack Test......PASSED
POST Not implemented yet!

Returning to MAIN PROM ...


Boot prom starting, PRODUCTION mode

Is there anybody out there?

Flash checksum check starts...fail

Fatal err!! Waiting for SpeedView to download code

I tried severell Images with Speedview 5.1 with a seriel cable.
But nothing is working. Can anyone help me with this ?

Did you try and reset the system back to the factory defaults? I suggest doing that and then start from there. I purchased speedview 4.1.2 and with the c100 switches I have I probably need ver 5.1 or 4.3.2. Do you think I can borrow a copy of ver 5?

Hai,

when you upgrade the C100 from it fomer Image do you:

1) Copy out/save the original config into Speed View
2) Upgrade the C100 using the Cross cable/Console Cable
3) Save the original Image
4) The MCP RAM must be at least 16MB and up
