Centering tables in word

What is the quick way of centering tables on a page, in word 2000.
 
Table menu ---> Table properties --> Table tab --> Choose Center under "alignment"
 
..and of course if you wan to center (align) vertically, as well as horizontally, you will need to use the File | Page Setup menu to access the vertical alignment settings under the Layout tab. I like to set a section/page break first, then apply the vertical alignment layout setting to just the section of concern.
 
and if you want to center the text inside the table vertically (horizontally just click center button at the top), highlight however much of the table or all of it, right click, cell properties and pick one of the 9 choices, either align top left, top center, top right, center left, center center, center right, lower left, lower center, lower right.
