Centering Items on a forum

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of a problem with the HTML on my site -

http://www.exiled-gamers.co.uk/forum/

- the two adverts appear fine in Internet Exlporer, and have a seperation line between them, but switching other browsers has different results:

Opera shows once laying on top of the other.
Mozilla neglects the line and puts both buttons next to each other.

Any suggestions as to why this may be?

Just switched the <br> for a <p>
