centering image--urgent! 6

please can someone help me--i need to make sure the crosshair, and everything about my images are centered, so when they are employed, the are used with the center as center.

how do i do th is?

You'll need to use the align panel:

window > design panels > align

click the 'to stage' button to align things to the center of the stage.

And if you need to alter the position of the registration point when you're creating a symbol then there's a little diagram in the symbol properties panel that lets you realign it.
