Hi, I am in Need of assistance. If anybody can help me that will be wonderful.

The scenario is

I have a cell that icontains a formula

H80
=SUM(H49,H51)*24

But I also have dropdown or validate list thats contains positive and negative numbers to represtent minus and addition.

How do I get my H80 CELL TO reference to a selection from the validate list?

Based on what I choose from the my list I want it to do the calculations based on that selection value

ex Sum(h49,h51)*24 (listbox value)

In need of help.
Thanks in Advance

The calculation in H80 is not going to be able to validate before calculating, so perhaps the validation to the dropdown list should be done in either H49 or H51, to limit what the result could be. If i am reading your "wish list" wrong, please give more explanation.

I think I am explaining it wrong.

H54 (list box)
=0
-18
-48

H80
=SUM(H49,H51)*24 (VALUE OF H54)

So based on my list box selection, I want to take the value and integrate with the H80 formula.

So it would be like =SUM(H49,H51)*24 - 18

Thanks

So, just do ...

=SUM(H49,H51)*24+H54

Cheers, Glenn.
