Hello, with Excel 2002 I want to have a single cell that left justifies the text and to have a number that is right justified within the same cell.
The reason for a single cell is that it is an existing worksheet and I am not the only one using it.

Is the only way is add a column?

Thanks

Hi,

The short answer is no, a cell can only have one justification applied.

Please explain what you are trying to accomplish in this, "existing worksheet and I am not the only one using it," because that is not a reason for this requirement.

The multi-person is the reason for not adding a column, as I did not create the worksheet and just update it I did not want to add columns.

What I am looking to do is for a check list there are names of processes but some processes have multiple steps and I wanted to put that number at the right side of the sell.
[tt] M T W T F
Process One 6 _ _ _ _ _
Process Two _ _ _ _ _
Process Three 2 _ _ _ _ _[/tt]

This is not mandatory or even needed but it helps me.

Thank you,
djj

is the numeric value used for anything?

No just to let me know there are x number of steps.

I believe your first answer is the one. I need to talk with the owner of the worksheet about adding a column.

Thanks again

You cannot have multiple justifications in the same cell, but you CAN use multiple colored fonts. I've only done it manually, but it shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish in code, especially if the number of characters involved is always the same.
