I read recently that Desktop PCs will become abolished and all internet and software usage will be from a cell phone. My question is which software language is used for programming cell phone or smart phone software?

I would like to read that article if you have a link as I am interested in the reasons for the demise of the desktop. I just don't see it happening but I am open to learning things. A large portion of current phone apps are developed using Java with the .NET languages growing in popularity but there really is not a standard language for specifically for phones. It is more dependant on the phone's hardware.

If you choose to battle wits with the witless be prepared to lose.
