Is it possible to have two column's in a dropdown list then when user select populate the cell with the 1st column.

ie. I have two column's account code and account description. to select the user needs to see the description. but once the selection is made i only want the account code displayed.

Thanks

Yes it is.

Column1 Column2
12345 Description

In the combobox properties, set the
BoundColumn = 1
ColumnCount = 2
ColumnWidths = "0 pt;100 pt"
TextColumn = 2

You might have to fill the combo box with a two dimensional array. The user will see the description in column two (the textcolumn), and the combobox will return the value of column 1 (the boundcolumn). Setting the columnwidth of the first column to "0 pt" will keep the column 1 information hidden from view within the combobox.
