I heard that any motherboard that supports celeron D processors can be upgraded to a p4 down the road. Is this true? I searched a bunch of online forums and couldn't find much of a solid response. Thanks, John

Celeron D, based on the 90nm Prescott core and with 533front side bus, 256K of L2 cache, these CPU's as far as I can tell, ALL use the pinless LGA 775 socket system.
This means the latest Intel Socket type and as such these boards will ALL have support for Full 800fsb P4's.
Note* That doesn't mean ALL P4's because some of the newer ranges do require later chipset types for functionality.
Having said this, there should be a fair number of P4 choices even if it's not on of the latest 600 series/dual cores etc.
I guess you need to find the CPU support list for your motherboard, usually on the manufacturers website.
