CE9 SMTP - Add viewer hyperlink to message body?

We are running CE9

I am testing the SMTP on the JobServer, and it works fine when attaching a report.

However, when I use the "Add viewer hyperlink to message body" tool all I get in the report
is %SI_VIEWER_URL% instead of an actual link to the instance.

Anyone experienced this before?
