All Reports are developed and tested in Crystal Designer 9 (9.2.2.693) using an odbc link to a stored procedure on the development sql server 2000 system.
Once I upload a report to CE (9.01.1.16) using the crystal management console I set the database to point to a sql server 2000 database referred to by ip address.
One report that uses a specific stored procedure works fine, I am however unable to create a report that uses any other stored procedure and install it on the server and then point it to a copy of the stored procedure on the ip addressed sql server. The stored procs are there on each server and can be tested in sql query analyser.
When running these reports from Crystal Enterprise 9 I have the following problems.
a) I either get a looping logon or the following error messages.
b) Operation not yet implemented. File C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 9\win32_x86\Data\CFLPSRS01.pageserver\temp\procReportTemp\mgrTemp\ps_4943b93dc453b21a.rpt.
c) Operation not yet implemented. File 75c3b94731c67303.rpt.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Can anyone who is up to date with their patches/hotfixes let me know if 9.01.1.16 is the latest stable version?
Thanks in advance.
