Reports are written with Crystal Reports 9. They print fine from Crystal Reports, but when printing from CE9 with the ActiveX viewer they print garbled text something that looks like 21 (77$&8 I am printing to an HP5000 postscript printer. Font is Arial on all reports. The server that CE is installed on has that printer installed, as does the client that I am printing from. I have the same problem printing to an HP4050 postscript. I can print using the PCL drivers but it cuts off the margins and most people have the postscript drivers installed as the default printers. So, in my mind printing with PCL drivers is not an option.

Any ideas on how to get those postscript drivers to work?

Dchard,

Did you ever get an answer to this? I am having a similar problem printing to a Canon pinter in our Publications department. It used to print fine when we were on CE 8.5 but we just migrated to 10 and it is printing in what looks like Cryllic. If I send the report to print on out standard HP 8100 printers it prints fine.
