CE8: client computer seeing no data!!!!

Hello all,

I am running CE8 SP1 on a WINXP PRO machine with IIS. I have created an intranet site and people can log into the site w/out problems. When they go to view the report, everything goes ok (if parameter fields are present, they show up properly, ...) but no data is shown. The Active X viewer says loading and nothing happens. The CE logo stops spinning but still, all I see is the "loading ...".

Has anyone experienced this?

Client pc's are using windows 98 and IE 5.5.

Perhaps it's a connectivity error.

There were problems with CE 8.5 and XP if the 1st parm was a datetime, otherwise it should work.

Test using the CE server to see if you can use reports there, if so, then it may be permissions.

CE does hiccup on occasion, so restarting the server isn't unheard of...
