Hi,
We have been running CE8.5 for a couple of months now with no problems. However, recently we started to use Events to schedule our reports, where we run one report and let it trigger the other reports.

3 days ago our scheduling of reports failed totally. All the reports can be viewed on demand, but none were able to be scheduled.

Restarted CE via CCM, no effect.

At the report history, error was:
Error Message: "Invalid export DLL or export format. File C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Shared\Temp\procSched\TISCOM2.report\~tmpd402fa4ceb7db0.rpt."

However, the destination for the report is DEFAULT.

In our Win2K server Application Log, I discovered many warnings from Crystal APS with details:
"The object identified by 4484 was not scheduled since the dependency on the event identified by 4467 could not be verified"

I felt that it was some badly configured Events, so I deleted all Events from the Event server.

Every couple of minutes the same warning pops up in the application log.

Anyone hit by this problem before? Thanks

I decided to set up CE on a test machine, and then used its jobserver instead of our production server. Reports were able to be scheduled. Ran the repair tool and it seems that the problem has gone away (for good I hope).

At that time, I scheduled reports via the "RUN NOW" button at the History tab of the report. It would fail immediately. For safety and clarity, I removed the events anyway. The problem still persisted, so suspect server issue. For now, after running repair tool, everything seems fine. Will begin to test Events on the test server first...
Thanks for the feedback.
