The users are getting "The Active Directory Authentication plugin failed to verify the currently specified Administration credentials required to connect to Active Directory." If I add the Crystal_Users global group in the local administrator, the users can login fine. Am I missing a step? Please help.

Thanks,

Steve C.

Try checking the AD Administration Name and Default AD Domain properties in the CMC.

Hi, As synapse noted, the username/password you specified in the AD authentication section of the CMC is probably incorrect - change it to a user ( preferably with a non-expiring password) that has access rights to the AD tree.

Adding the Crystal_Users group to local admin is a not a goodidea, since any Crystal user could then take control of the server.
