CE10 Upgrade Guidence Request

Hello all,

I just received my CE10 upgrade CD and am looking forward to all of the audit and administration features. However, I am loathe to upset my current stable environment if 10 is buggy or the upgrade is error prone. I just thought I would see if anyone out there has upgraded from 9 to 10 and has any advice or cautions.

I am curious about the process of upgrading a highly-customized ePortfolio installation. Are there substantial differences between the CE9 and CE10 csp pages that complicate the upgrade?
How significant are the changes to the SDK object models?
Will the audit tools tell me who is logging on to CE and what they are doing (viewing, scheduling, mailing, etc.) with what objects?
Does the Admin module allow more bulk operations, like changing the Description (Department name) for a group of users, or turning thumbnails on/off for all reports, or changing a database password for a set of reports?

I have found some significant differences with our web portal (our version of ePortfolio) from CE 9 to CE 10. Many of the subroutines are not working. My hunch is that if you replace the core files like logon.csp, folder.csp and so on withthe up to date CE 10 versions of these files, then your ePortfolio may work.
