We have CE10 with single sign on implemented - AD authentication with default uk domain. We have just opened an office in Spain and their users are on a different domain. I cannot map the Spanish users into CE. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Can you be more specific than "I cannot map the Spanish users into CE"?

What is the error? or else what happens? what did you try to enter? You can't map them or you can map them but they can not login?

The default domain is (or should be) just so you don't have to type it in - for none default domains you can use either the NT format of DOMAINNAME\GROUPNAME or the DN format of
DN (cn=GROUPNAME,dc=DOMAINNAME, dc=COM)

Can you login to a CE server using one of the Spanish accounts? that should tell you if it's a CE issue or a AD issue.

Thanks Kingfisher - I've resolved it using a suggestion by another tek-tips member - I added the users in the other domain to Crystal NT Users group on the CE Server and then updated that group in the authentication page. It brought them in ok.

Kind regards
Deb

Hi,
That will work, although it causes more administrative headaches if the group membership changes..

You should try to find out why the other domain is noot accessable -- did you try Kingfisher's idea?
