CE10 Installation

Hi,

When CE10 is purchased then does it come with a licence for say SQL Server, i.e. if you don't have SQL Server then will it install the repository on a SQL Server database bundled with CE10, or do you have to have a seperate database licence?

What is the default database the repository gets installed to if there is no database server?

If you do not have SQL server then MSDE is installed on the CE server (this is covered in the Install documentation for CE10).

If you are going to have a small CE installation then MSDE may well be sufficient. Naturally the databases must be backed up and consider the implications of the database going down.
