Im exporting a report from CE10 to excel. There are multiple items within a cell (each separated by a carriage return). Once the data is exported to Excel, there is a hidden carriage return and a visible Unicode (box) carriage return.

If I try this in Crystal Reports then it's fine. After I save it to Crystal Enterprise, and then schedule to export in XLS format I get the above. [square boxes]

Thanks in advance.

You might try applying the service pack for CE 10:

You don't explain how these carriage returns are created, nor anything about the report, so it's hard to help.

Does the database field contain these carriage returns, or are you adding something within the report?

You might try using the replace function in Crystal if it's in a field/formula.
