CE Server connectivity issue with SQL Server

Hi,

We recently got a new SQL server and made the change over the weekend. Got all the new data over including DTS packages, etc. Works great. I can run Crystal Reports fine and can retrieve data from database on the new server. When I try to view the same report in Crystal Enterprise it fails. Either I can't login or if I try to run it I get a failure that says something like login failed: incorrect login parameter (or something similar). I've exhausted every option in troubleshooting this.

Hi,
Have you confirmed:
1: DSN is the same on the CE box as on the Workstation?

2: Account that CE servers run under has permission to access the new database location?

I think that Turk nailed this with #2, it's very common to not have the persissions properly migrated.

The APS database will return an error too if something changed, however I believe it would occur before the point of running as it wouldn't allow you into eportfolio, etc.
