CE Newbie - Can't get pages to open

I just installed CE8 (standard) for the first time and I'm having trouble getting anything but the launchpad to open. I can't even get into the management console to change settings. I am running IIS on a Windows 2k server. I checked the application mappings and everything seems to be fine there.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I'm not even able to get into eportfolio. By launchpad I mean I go to Start>Programs>Crystal Enterprise>Crystal Launchpad. It brings up the launchpad page just fine but I can't get to eportfolio or anything else that has links on the page. It opens but can't find the page. So it never even asks me to log on. It's like I can't view csp pages or something.
 
Is the error message a http 500?
I would delete the app mappings and re-create them (all 5) manually. You will have to type them in, don't use the Browse button, and use the 8.3 format (progra~1/seagat~1/.....). Oh and make sure you have the wcsinsapi.dll in that location. It happened to me once that I had another seagate folder ABOVE the seagate software folder - of course the seagat~1 went for the first one and couldn't find anything.
 
Ok. The error message is an http 500. I went into the "default" website and deleted the 5 app mappings. I re-added them by typing out the path (c:\progra~1\seagat~1\wcs\wcsins~1.dll) for each one. Still nothing. I'm still getting the same http 500 error.
 
Look up "http 500" in google and you'll get a link to Crystal Support pages

How do you resolve the HTTP 500 error when using CE with Microsoft Peer Web Services?"
