CE-How to Change Page Server and Job Server to Domain Account? 2

Greetings All,

I'm new to Crystal Enterprise. I've read posting that fixed Database Logon Required problem for Crystal Enterprise version 8.0 and 8.5. It said to change the Page Server and Job Server to a Domain Account and it should work. Would anyone be kind enough to give me detail instructions of how to change the account?

There was one posting said to follow these steps, but I still couldn't get it working.

Open Services (Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services
Click on Crystal APS

I don't know what would be the next step. I'd appreciate all your feedbacks. Thank you in advance.

On the server. Open the CCM (crystal configuration manager) under Enterprise programs.

Stop the pageserver,
Right click on the pageserver and select properties.

You will get a screen with all the properties setting for the pageserver. Uncheck use local Host (or whatever it is on 8 i am on 9 and have forgotten). Fill in the user name and password, restart.

Do the same for the job server.

Since you're going to use a domain account, don't forget to include the domain with the User Id (enter the User ID as 'Domain\user')
