CE 8, IE6, Crviewer.dll (activex) error

we have been running a nice little intranet, using ce8 on the server (NT4). i don't like CE (its just to big for our needs, i only want a web server) and it has worked well for 12 months. We have just started an upgrade programme to xp when we have now found some of our PC's, can't refresh from the viewer, some can't refresh only via a parameter request. We get one of those XP error screens that says 'internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. etc etc'

i am them presented with 2 buttons. 1 send error report or don't send. Either way it bombs you out and it don't work.


i just don't know what to try and make it work, we have own loaded the newest ie6 patches ????????
