We have a single server CE 8.5 with a SQL 2000 backend database running Crystal Reports made in 8.5 Report Designer.
We are trying to pass barcodes to the Crystal Enterprise server in the form of a Free 3 of 9 Extended truetype font. The font has been installed on my PC, as well as on the physical Crystal Enterprise server. If I schedule a report from the ePortfolio, I am able to see the barcode in the generated instance from my PC, but our server ops person is not able to see it from the physical Crystal Enterprise server. If I schedule the report to print, the barcode does not appear on the printed version as well. The server ops person has tested that the font is indeed working on the CE server (in Word, the font is usable).
If I take the font in and out of the font selections on my PC (through Control Panel), I am able to go between what the others are seeing (*123456*, the 6-digit number with asterisks) and what they should see (the barcode), so it appears that placing the font on the CE server should solve it- but it hasn't.
Ideas?
Thanks in advance.
