Running CE 8.5

One of our users published about 300 reports that had been SAVED WITH DATA, and the ReportObjects in CE all have values in their parameter fields which are supposed to be "EMPTY".

I don't want to have to do it report-by-report in the CMC, if I can help it...

Does anyone have a script, tool or trick for setting the parameter values to "EMPTY" for all the ReportObjects in CE 8.5?

Thanks in advance...

SV -

We are using APOS Instance Manager (and InfoScheduler) on this project. InstanceManager (and ObjectManager) don't have a tool for emptying out the default values of the Parent ReportObject - so I'm hoping that it can be done with a script or something.

The problem is that end-users can run these 300 reports by themselves in ePortfolio and forget to put in the parameters.

Normally (with the parameters "EMPTY") the Instances would fail, and the Users would realise they had done something wrong...but with the parameters having values from when they were published - we get support calls that the "Reports aren't working properly" or "EPortfolio isn't taking my parameters".

You and I know that they aren't enetering in any values (or forgetting the ADD button), but we can't prove that to them until all the default values are emptied.

Any ideas would be welcome...script, tool, whatever...

Otherwise, I'm spending Monday setting each individual ReportObjects parameters values to "EMPTY"....

Thanks.
