Hello,

I have CE 10 and about 400+ scheduled reports.
I need to change the password to the DB (Oracle), and in turn, change all those reports to use the new password.

I tried some CSP/ASP from the SDK, but that only changes the password for the "current" instance of the report.

The scheduled report is still using the old password and fails.

1. Is there a way to batch change the password for all the scheduled instances of the reports?

2. Is there a better approach? I have many reports which connect to the same DB, I don't like using ODBC, is there another way to centralize the DB credentials for the reports?

Thanks,
Walter

Hello,

We have an existing .NET application that gives a list of the different crystal reports that are stored in the repository. We are getting this via CE SDK. As of this part, everything is ok. We can open any reports from the .NET app.

Now, what we want to do next, is to be able to open directly the "Schedule" tab of the Crystal Management Console, from the .NET application. Given the reportID/report name, CE logon info, is it possible to open the "Schedule Manager" of a specific report? If yes, how can we achieve this, and what is the link to open the "Schedule Manager".

Thanks!
