CE 10 and Crystal in VS.NET

One of our development team is writing Crystal report that is embedded in VS.Net. Most of their reports will be run thru their application but there are reports that we would like to publish to CE10.

Now, he gave me a sample of the report to try and upload to CE10 but i cannot run the report successfully because the AD0.NET dataset cannot be found.

How do i fix this?

Is the ADO.NET connecting via ODBC? If so, you'll need that ODBC setting on the CE server. Anyway, you need to know the connectivity method.

Try using native connectivity if possible, it gets around this problem and is faster.

If you can't connect directly to a data source (relational / XML / etc) your .NET developer will need to provide you with a .NET Dataset Provider DLL which you will need to deploy to your CE server in the same directory path as on the VS.NET report. Only then will the CE Services be able to read the data.

Is there any documentation on how to do this on CE10? I am really a newbie on CE and currently i am just playing CE on my local machine since we are still awaiting for our server to arrive.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
