Dell Dimension XPS-B,Windows 2000 SP2
D drive Samsung DVD/CD SD612
E drive LG CD-RW CED 8080B
Adaptec Easy Cd Creator 4.02d (Dell),updated drivers, added fix from Dell, reinstalled etc.

I have had no problems since I have had this system and have not changed anything recently except adding RAM a few weeks ago.
All of a sudden when copying a CD I get "Errors reported by output device" error T7124 Trackwriter error CD read failed.

This only occurs when copying,I can write data from C to the CDRW with no problem and the D drive plays DVD's with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for all your help.
I dropped the speed down to 1x and then back to default 4x. Also after a tip from elsewhere, emptied the recycle bin and all is well.
